Over on Overwatch 2 subReddit, a user named singlefate highlighted a strange glitch happening with Reinhardt’s new Olympus skin, which turns him into a Minotaur. However, when he uses an emote called Sweethardt, his hammer looks like it was cut in half. Fortunately, the problem doesn’t seem to happen with other emotions, so it seems to be quite isolated and specific.

Naturally, this led to many jokes about Blizzard being a small indie company, rather than a massive gaming giant with access to a lot of resources. Others took the opportunity to bemoan the in-game store prices for these Overwatch 2 leather, especially when several of them have small detailing problems or defects. Store prices have been a constant talking point from the community ever since Overwatch 2 launched as many feel the “free to play” movement has pushed Blizzard to be more aggressive with store pricing.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first Olympus skin with a strange bug. Controversial tank character Roadhog has a legendary skin that turns him into a Cyclops, although fans have noticed that wearing the legendary skin negatively affects his reload animation. For whatever reason, when reloading the scrap gun during a replay, the character does not load anything into his gun during the animation. While not game-breaking by any means, many fans felt disappointed by the lack of polish.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
